Acceptance into our program is highly competitive.
VEMA scribes do not compete with interns or residents for exposure. We keep a small, high quality program so that our scribes get the most out of their time with us.
Minimum Requirements
We are seeking pre-health candidates who are interested in pursuing a medical, physician assistant, or nursing degrees.
A qualified candidate must have the following by their indicated start date:
- completed their bachelor’s degree at a regionally accredited university or college
- be able to commit 12-months to the program for full-time candidates (or 18-months for part-time candidates)
- be willing to work rotating shifts that include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
This program is not designed for individuals who have already completed a medical degree.
